Junior Funding Criteria

 

1/  The applicant must be a current financial member of an affiliated squash club within the Eastern District or if the applicant is a member outside of the Eastern District, then they must be representing the Eastern District in either of the Junior or the Senior Team’s.

2/  The applicant must have a top ten New Zealand ranking in their age group on the Squash New Zealand Junior Ranking list.  This must be on the August ranking list of the current year or the October ranking list of the previous year.

3/  The applicant must be regularly involved in a training programme under the guidance of a recognised coach

4/  The applicant must have played in at least two of the following junior tournaments within the last twelve months.

               *  New Zealand Junior Open

               *  North Island Age Groups

               *  South Island Age Groups

               *  New Zealand Junior Nationals

 

5/  The applicant must have participated in at least three registered Eastern tournaments within the last twelve months.

NB:  For consideration of the application, the applicant or the applicants guardian must confirm the above information in writing to the Squash Eastern Board no later than the 14th of August of that year.

Applications will be discussed at the next Squash Eastern Board meeting by the Board and successful applicants will receive decisions in writing.

The Squash Eastern Board reserves the right to decline applications on the basis that the financial status of Squash Eastern does not allow this kind of support or for disciplinary reasons the applicant is not deemed suitable due to matters of not meeting the New Zealand Code of Conduct in regards to behaviour and attitude.
